I have been using this simple and gorgeous eyeshadow from Inglot Cosmetics as a subtle but sparkling wash on my eyes for quite some time now. I have finally come around to sharing why I love this shade with you!
Inglot Cosmetics is a Polish beauty brand that has been gaining more and more popularity over the last couple of years, which has led to several outlets opening their doors for this brand. You can find shops that sell Inglot in the Netherlands and Belgium even has an Inglot store in Hasselt! The freedom systems are a distinctive item that Inglot sells. You can buy separate products (for your eyes, cheeks, lips, etc) and bring them together with a freedom system (basically a palette). The eyeshadow I am sharing with you today comes in such a system: palette 1. However, there are so many different kinds of options to choose from. The freedom system palette 1 can only be filled with one product (eyeshadow, concealer, brow powder, blush, etc that all come in square pans) and will not fall out because of its magnetic base. This is a great system, because once your product has finished you can just replace it with another one!
The top of the palette is transparent with the brand name on top of it and you can slide it open then take it off (yay for magnets). Now I was smart enough to put the eyeshadow in its holder without writing down the name of the color (written on the back of the pan) and I do not think I can take the pan out without ruining the product. I'm messy. So I think it is either a shine square in #30 or a pearl square in #395. I am leaning towards the latter!
The swatch is gorgeous. The eyeshadow is a yellow-golden shade with golden shimmers/pearls that looks really pretty. As a swatch I think the shade is quite harsh, but when blending the shade it becomes very soft and shimmery on my skin color. I made a little gif for you to check out how the eyeshadow looks on my eyes: soft, golden and shimmery. You see what I mean with subtle but gorgeous?!
The eyeshadow is very easy to apply on the eyes and there is no fall out. It remains on my lids throughout the day (with a base underneath) and it does not crease. It is the perfect shade to wear when going for a natural look with something special to it. However, you can also choose to apply the eyeshadow without blending too much, so the color is more intense! I tend to wear it as a wash, but it works perfectly fine as a highlighter too (in the inner-V and towards the brows) or combined with other shades. The square eyeshadows by Inglot Cosmetics are €7 per piece and a simple freedom system palette (reusable) will cost you €6! What do you think? Are you liking this shade too? Or do you prefer a bit more color?! And what about the Freedom Systems?
