As you may have learned by now.. the months December and January are pretty boring for me. They are filled with meeting deadlines and studying for (and taking) exams. The only upside is that I don't have any classes in January, so sleeping in helps with the amount of monotonous studying. I always hope I do not get sick in that one week I have off at the start of February.. (un)fortunately for me.. it did happen this year. At least I was able to catch up with all my series!
One of the things I did whilst studying for exams was thinking about my summer holiday in Spain. I had such an amazing time there.. no obligations.. just freedom. Oh, how I miss it!
I also had brunch at a pop-up food place called Murni where you could experience lactose-free and gluten-free food. There was a big white chair that looked so comfy (perfect reading area) that I had to take a picture of it. Can you imagine it in your own home?
Just right before the holidays in December I got to attend a gift-wrapping workshop that gave me lots of insight, but also allowed me to try new coffees!! This coffee was one of them.. I think I may have had three of those... Once I started... I could not stop! Fortunately, I did fall asleep later that night!
I tried out one of my favorite nail polishes again.. and was so enamored with it that I had to share it with you! This is Time for Romance by Essence!
Surely you have noticed the change. After almost three years of having my lovely lay-out with moving clouds, I finally decided to switch it up! So since Friday you can (hopefully) enjoy my new and more personalized blog lay-out!
Inez and I went on a shopping trip to Ghent where we had lunch at Jackie's bagelbar! I had already tried the bagels from this place during an event, but I forgot all about it.. luckily we walked by the bar and it caught my attention immediately.. I will definitely be going back here when in Ghent! So should you!
During my meeting with fellow bloggers, we had the opportunity to try mini cupcakes MoMade Cupcakes. I'm not much of a sweet tooth.. but boy, they sure were delicious! What a sight, right?!
Going back to my shopping trip in Ghent... we visited Beauty Queen and Fin du Jour. Two lovely beauty stores with hard to find brands and products.. I will be sharing what I bought there soonish!
Well, that was what I have been up to these last couple of months. Nothing too exciting, but some fun stuff every now and then. What about you? If you want to see more personal or behind-the-scenes pictures, then be sure to follow me on instagram! My second semester has started... so it's back to classes.. though, honestly, I'm a bit behind with my books. I still need to buy them all. Oops. How are things on your end?
