You might have read on Monday that I have become a big fan of the "Into The Night" eyeshadow palette by W7 Cosmetics. Not only because it is very affordable, but also because it has well-pigmented eyeshadows with lots of shimmer in them. You may know by now that I love shimmer!
As promised, here are a couple of looks I have created with the palette so far! I really started playing with this palette and I realized that I kept going back to "Wonderland", because I never had a shade that came so close to rose gold as this one and I just absolutely love that color on my eyes. It is super romantic, soft and sweet. So in the first two looks I have used this color as the base!
I think I created this look in the weekend when my friend was staying over at my place. I had run out of time, but still wanted to create something simple with the palette so I used "Wonderland" in the middle and "Dusty" in my inner-V. I was going to be wearing this look during the day as well, so I did not want to make it too heavy, which is why I went for "Summer". Also, I am wearing a pretty bright fuchsia lipstick so it had to be in balance. Oh, right. I am also wearing "Laura E" on my lower lash line. I have not used any primer underneath, so you can see that the colors are pigmented but soft. I think the colors stayed on just fine, because I did not notice any visible changes.
For this look I had more time so it will look a little less rushed (though I never like spending too much time on applying make up... patience is not my virtue). I used "Wonderland" in the middle of my eyelid again, "Atlanta" in my inner-V towards the middle, "Laura E" in my outer-V and crease with "Lady Luck" applied on top of "Laura E" in my crease and solely applied on my lower lash line. I did use an eye primer for this look and it just immediately stands out to me that these colors are bolder and shine much more. The eyeshadows stayed on perfectly throughout my evening and I thought it was such a pity to take it off when I was going to bed!
My third and final look was meant to be bolder, even though I wore it throughout the whole day. As with the previous look I had a hard time removing it at night (not just because it is such a hazzle), because it had stayed on so nicely. There was only some slight fading on one eye - so I think that is pretty great. Yay eye primer! In the inner-V I used "Party Pooper", but just slightly. On my eyelid I applied "Razzamataz" and slightly towards my outer-V, but mainly in my crease I applied "Gate Crash". As you can see, there are slight shimmers there but I also wanted some extra sparkle, so I added some on top of my eyeliner.
I have used nine out of the twelve colors from the "In The Night: Smokey Shades" eye color palette by W7 Cosmetics and I am extremely pleased with the pigmentation and the stay-power of the shades, though both aspects have been helped by the eye primer I wore underneath. I am having so much fun playing with these colors. What do you think of the different looks? What color combination would you like to try yourself?
