We have seen lots of beautiful new products that we will be able to enjoy next spring and summer, but the fun is not over yet, because I have another article for you today with even more goodies! And I know you will love some of the things in here!
Let me start with the shoes. Shoes are very important! I always admire high heels and pumps, but I thought it would be a good change to focus on flats or sneakers this time. I discovered a very special one by Keds that is for the ladies and looks like cork! Cork? You read that right. Luckily, it does not feel like cork.. but smooth! Flossy Style is a Spanish brand and if you look closely, then you might notice that these fun glittery versions look a whole lot like the classic "espadrilles". Now, I am not a big fan of espadrilles, but this modern interpretation does appeal to me and the glitter sure helps out a lot! As a beauty lover you will surely know Inglot and there were lots of pretty things to see, unfortunately there was not enough lighting to take proper pictures.. but here is one of a new blush!
I really love cooking, eating.. and getting kitchen/food-related supplies. I just love beautiful, funny, modern, classy designs of plates, trays, cups, cheese platters and so on... so when I saw the new collection by Salt & Pepper I instantly fell in love. Walking around I just became so enthusiastic. On the left you see hot plate with a dinner plate inside of it (the design reminds me of Ying & Yang a bit) and you can grill your veggies, meats of sea food whilst sitting at the dining table and then you just scoot it over to your plate. I am absolutely loving this idea. If you keep the hygienic rules in mind, then this would be so much fun!!! It is a bit like raclette or "gourmetten" as we Dutchies call it and I absolutely love doing that!! With the holidays coming up I am looking forward to it already!
Sothys is a cosmetic and make up brand (as far as I know) sold in spas and Sothys institutions. What caught my eye from the start was the Poussière d’Or, in other words the face and décolletage (cleavage) sparkling powder. It comes in such a cute and classic perfume-like bottle and when you push lots of golden glitters come out. Make sure you add some distance between yourself and the product.. you do not want to sparkle like Edward.. just subtly. On the second picture there are more products by Sothys: two eyeshadows, a blush and two brushes. On the third picture you see three pairs of fake eyelashes by Eylure called "London: the lash edit" ensuring catwalk ready lashes. I actually pair of these to try, so I am very curious and will get back to you!
When I saw this book I immediately thought... oh, wow. I could use this. I mean, with my barely touched sewing machine at home.. I am in dire need of inspiration and easy instructions. Maybe "Het Grote Singer Naaiboek" by Hilde Smeesters can provide me with that those two things. I would be so happy if I became a bit better at sowing, but I would need more time first. Ack. Some cute pink duckies in the bath tub... I just had to take a photo! I love cooking. My boyfriend loves eating pasta and pizza. So you see... it is an important ingredient and I am always in need of tomato puree, tomato sauce, tomato bits, or just fresh tomatoes. This is why I take a great interest in Elvea. Do you use this as an ingredient a lot too? Then we have this pretty little coffee machine called Oblo by Dolce Gusto. Guess who bought one? After having seen this one and tried a chocolate milk (that is how you convince me) I immediately became enthusiastic and just had to get one. So I did. It is my early Christmas present. What do you think? I got it for €89 and I will get back €40! How brilliant is that?!
Essentiel is a Belgian fashion brand for both men and women. Their new collection consists of sweaters and jackets with sparkling sequins that will be perfect to wear with Christmas or New Years Eve - though I am not sure whether they were intended for that season, but it is all about what you want to do with it, anyways! Pretty cool, right?! Etam I only knew as a lingerie (or sleepwear) brand, but apparently they also sell clothing and accessories! To top that.. they are also going to produce make up and here is a preview of what is coming. I am wondering about the quality of the make-up, as Etam is a lingerie brand, but I am more than willing to find out! What about you?
I would like to end the highlights of the SS15 Press Days with a nice picture of some of my blogger friends, Eline, Inez and Marlies, and myself at the end of a fun evening. The Press Days were very interesting and, at times, educational. All in all, it has made me very excited about soon-to-be in stores products. Do you get as passionate as me about kitchen supplies? Or do sparkling shoes appeal to you more? Tell me? What are you most excited about?
