I have been meaning to write about my love for Chanel Rouge Allure for so long now, but it never happened. I was never really pleased with the pictures or with the ideas that I had in my mind, but I think that enough time has passed and I should just get on with it.
This is certainly a small collection of my hard earned money spent on lipsticks (gosh.. I know). This may not be impressive for plenty of beauty lovers, but it is my special and treasured little collection so I knew I had to share them with you. This will only be an overview of my lipsticks as I would like to discuss each lipstick separately depending on which lipstick you would like to read more about first!
"A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous"
Coco Chanel said it herself. I think that the Rouge Allure lipsticks embody both class and fab! You see it immediately in the packaging. The lipsticks come in beautiful golden tubes that you have to click into (the famous clicking system) the smooth and steel black frames. On the frame "Chanel" is written at the bottom and the top (or bottom of the lipstick) shows the golden tube. I think this is simplicity and elegance at its best. The packaging of the lipsticks is truly beautiful and it does not even make me look twice at other lipstick collections by Chanel. I do love Rouge Allure Velvet and I have included that into this collection. It is practically the same.. the texture is just.. velvety!

The first lipstick, Fabulous, is a brown-pinkish lipstick with so much golden shine in it, so it will not work as a nude, but it will certainly look very special! Déterminée is a soft brown lipstick with a violet-pinkish undertone. I bought this shade, because it serves its purpose as a nude lipstick without making me look less than alive. The third lipstick La Raffinée is part of the Velvet line, meaning it has a velvet (more matte) finish than the others with a more satin finish do, but it is still soft due to its hydrating qualities so it does not dry your lips. This lipstick is a soft but rosy pink shade that has a deeper color (less sheer with just one swatch) but still some shine.
Another Velvet lipstick is La Désirée. It is a dark red shade that looks far darker in the tube, than it does on your lips. The lipstick has cool undertones and a matte finish. Passion, a cool red shade, was the first Chanel lipstick I ever bought and this is where my lipstick collection started. I actually wrote an article about this lipstick, but I hate how the pictures turned out in that one. So I may just take new photos and add them with another lipstick post! What do you think?!
Then from bright red we go to Envoûtante, which is a soft and delicate purple shade with silver shimmers and sparkles. The more layers you apply, the cooler and darker this lipstick becomes! Fatale is a maroon lipstick with more brown than red and it looks so classy (heck, all the shades look classy). Last but definitely not least is Rouge Noir. It took me some time before I bought this. I went back to the shops for it several times, but it was just so dark. I found it so intimidating and the boyfriend was not a fan (until after I bought it, haha), but eventually I felt daring enough and I just went for it. It is a deep brown with bits of purple in there and Rouge Noir is the perfect vamp lipstick for this fall and winter!

These lipsticks are supposed to provide luminous and intense lip color with a satin-like finish, and I think they definitely do that. It is not just the package that I fell in love with! They do not only look luxurious, but they feel it too - if that is even possible. Each color that I have is truly beautiful and shines as they are supposed to. The ones that shine the least are the Velvet ones, but they, to some degree, do shine. Their durability range greatly, so for that I will have to do separate articles that focus on each lipstick specifically. The Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks cost about €30, but they are well worth it to me! Which lipstick are you the most curious about? I will try to start with that one!
