Yup. It is that time again. Time to go back to school. If you have not started already a couple of weeks ago! This picture above pretty much sums up how I feel about it.. especially when I think about how many books I will have to read. Not that I mind reading books; I just prefer reading books I get to choose.. You know?
So much has happened since Picture Perfect #3 but most of it has been school-related so let me not bore you with the trials and tribulations of my University-life right now. Instead, let us forget all about it. Let me show you some of the very very very rare highlights of the last couple of months.
In April I started with a new type of post, namely Beauty Make Overs, in which I try to do the make up of my lovely models with their own beauty products to see if I can create a look they are pleased with and they can recreate. So far I have created a look for Jessica and Jasmine! What do you think?
I went to the Fall-Winter 2014 Press Days, you can find out more about it here and here, where I had delicious (finger) food and saw great new collections. I had a lot of fun walking around and about with my fellow blogger friends! The best thing about it.. the wonderful things I saw back then (and you can as well) are more than likely available in stores right now!
When I found some time on my hands I tried to cook yummy dishes that were easy enough to make and did not take up too much time. After all, who has spare time? The lovely salmon burger and healthy sweet potato fries are a couple of my pleasing creations.
I am not much of a coffee drinker, even though I love it (ack long story). Nevertheless, every now and then I get myself a delicious cappuccino or a yummy (vanilla) latte. I had this delicious coffee at Coffeelabs in Antwerp where I enjoyed the sun as well. What kind of coffee do you like?
Here's a photo of one of the beautiful sights I had back in Spain. I had such an amazing relaxing over there and drinking lots of cocktails. If you plan on going there find some hot spots here. I wish I could be back there... but nope, I am already a whole week into my classes. Ack! Where did you go on holiday?
In the heat of the summer I made some homemade popsicles with my grandma's recipe. Hm, these are truly deliciously sweet and milky! I should write this recipe down someday, would you be interested in it? Do you make your own popsicles too?
Last but definitely not least, I was invited to the Guess Nashville Most Wanted Party in the Villa in Antwerp in honor of their new Fall and Winter collection of 2014. It was quite the happening and fashionista party with everyone wearing a cowboy hat. It gave me the opportunity to connect with other bloggers and I am always thankful for that! Plus, it is also fun to party.
There you go. Some highlights of the last couple of months. I wish I had many more to share.. but most of the good stuff I end up sharing with you all right here anyways. More personal bits you can find on my Instagram, so be sure to follow me on there as well! What about you? Is there one big thing this summer you really, really, and I mean realllllly enjoyed? Do tell!
