As you may remember, in April I shared my first "Beauty Make Over" post with you all, in which I asked a friend if she wanted to be my model and allow me to add some color to her face. The challenge in it for me was to do this with their products only, so they could recreate the look (you know, if I succeeded at it) themselves. Today I am sharing another beauty make over with you all!
This natural beauty, Jasmine, brought very little beauty products with her. In fact, she only had eyeliner with her, because it was the only thing she used. Well, obviously I could not do a complete make over with just eyeliner so I had to rethink my challenge a bit. I wanted to emphasize the eyeliner (especially because of her beautiful eyes. I added a little bit of glitter and mascara to her eyes and made her lips orange red.
With a bit of concealer and foundation her face looked super smooth and I was happy with the results. The scariest or more difficult bit was the eyeliner. It is so different when you apply it on someone else than when you do on yourself. I did not use a lip liner on her lips so I had to be extra careful when coloring in her lips with lipstick. I really love the golden sparkle eyeshadow (by Bobbi Brown) on her lids, which adds a subtle but very fancy and rich feel to her eyes and overall look.
Here you have Jasmine modeling for me a bit. I really love the shape of her face and her happy smile. It was both fun and challenging for me to do this but I am happy the results turned out ok and, more importantly, I am thrilled that Jasmine loved it! What about you? Do you like the beauty make over as well?
