Now that you have seen the beautiful eyeshadows of the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette by Urban Decay, I wanted to also show you the first look that I created with it. It was a while back close to my birthday, which is why you will see balloons hanging in the picture.. if you click ahead.
But let us first take a closer look at the colors that I used in my soft and quite pink eye look (above). I started off with "Nooner" on my eye lid near the inner-V, then in the middle of my lid I applied "Trick" to make the centre look brighter. To my outer-v I first applied "Darkside" towards my crease to create some depth and just in the outer-V and on my lower lash line I applied "Mugshot". I added "Dust" to my inner-V and a bit in my crease towards the middle of my lid for some sparkles. It is a beautifully sparkly color, is it not? It being such a soft and romantic look.. I could have made it even soft with an eye pencil or dark eyeshadow line, but I wanted to harden it up a bit so I added my favorite liquid liner to create a winged line. My eyelashes were such a mess that day; I do not know what happened.
When you look closely at the make-up it is quite shimmery (I mean, I have only used one matte color and above it I added a shimmery color again) but it still remains really soft when zoom out and look at the full face picture. Do not mind my tired face, my birthday has been quite fun and I had very little sleep. All good things, right? Anywho, I thought this look was really sweet and would perfectly for a romantic date... or.. euhm, celebrating one's birthday (why not?)!
I mean, I am sure it is pretty obvious that I am in love with my Naked 3 palette and I look forward to playing around with it some more.. and of course, sharing it with you. Before applying the shades I applied a primer potion on my eyelids to make the colors more intense and so they stay on longer, which they did. My eyes looked like this throughout the whole day. What do you think? Do you like this look? Does it seem soft and romantic to you as well?
