Bodysol Repairing Hand Cream has been so kind to provide me with nourishing products that take extra care of my skin and hands during the colder seasons. In the past I have shared a wonderful cleansing lotion and a fruity perfume. This time I would like to share my findings on a hand cream by Bodysol Dermo Protection.

Bodysol Dermo Protection is a Belgian brand that focuses on taking care of skin even when you do not have any skin problems. The brand came to be through a collaboration with pharmacies. Prevention is better than curing, right? But let us get on with discovering "Dry Protect SOS", obviously for dry and damaged hands. The package does not look very special, slightly boring even, but all the information is presented well and with big letters. This way I know right away what I will be needing it for. I like that it comes in a tube, because it is more hygienic and I can easily control how much cream I want to use.

This repairing hand cream really nourishes and hydrates the skin intensely with allantoin (known for its softening effects) and provitamin b5 (keeps the skin smooth). The rich cream is hypoallergenic (meaning the ingredients are specifically chosen to decrease the chances of an allergic attack, so yay!) and dermatologically tested. Now that we know the most important ingredients that will help richen the outer layer of our skin, let's take a look at the substance.

As mentioned before, the dosage is easily controlled. It comes out in quick squirts and I push the tube softly once or even twice if I want a bit extra. The amount on my finger is about one squirt and really is enough, because the cream spreads out evenly and nourishes it well. After I tried this for the first time I was very surprised with how little I needed and with how soft my hands felt within seconds. I takes me about 10 seconds to rub the cream everywhere and I can just feel how the cream melts into my skin, leaving me with a soft and smooth touch, and nice smelling hands! All this is surprising because I expected a really thick and greasy cream.. I mean it is supposed to repair damaged skin (weird expectation of mine?) but it does the trick and my hands do not feel sticky at all! You can buy this lovely discovery on for €5,21 per tube containing 75 ml. Are you a fan of Bodysol too? What is your go-to hand cream?

  7. sounds like a nice handcream :) i recently got one from douglas and it's also super useful now for winter :)

  8. I've seen Bodysol pretty much everywhere, but I didn't know how the brand came into existence! Thanks for sharing! I am also a big hand cream hoarder, so this one has naturally piqued my interest ;)
