A quick look at inexpensive beauty brand Essence Cosmetics and its nail polish line "Colour & Go".
When I am looking for new polish I often go for Essence Cosmetics, an inexpensive beauty brand. Their nail polish line "Colour & Go" consists of hundreds different colors and has a wonderful brush, it's wider than a regular brush so you can apply the polish easier and quicker on your nail. I have several colors from the line, but today I would like to share "Time For Romance" #112 with you all.
As said before, it was very easy to apply and it looks great with one or two layers.. though as usual my preference goes to two layers. I didn't apply a topcoat so the nail polish felt quite rough. It reminded me of the sand texture that some polishes have. I didn't mind it, but I think that because of the rough exterior the polish started to chip quite quickly. The next day two nails were chipped and the third day all nails were chipped, so that was a downer. "Time For Romance" has deep purple in it with lots of glitters in different sizes and colors. The nail polish reminds me of something festive, so it's perfect for going out.. and it's best to be applied on the day itself.
Above you will find a photo with one layer and two layers of nail polish. All bottles are 8 ml/0.27 fl. oz. Essence Cosmetics can be bought at Kruidvat, and if you don't have one in your town.. then click here for more information.
What's your favorite "Colour & Go" nail polish? What do you think of this one?
