I love high heels, unfortunately high heels don't love me anymore. When I was "younger" I was able to wear high heels all day long, no matter what the occasion was - ok, extreme things (e.g. sport activities) are obviously not included! Alas, nowadays I feel like a grandma most of the time and it seems to have taken its toll on my feet too. No more walking around with high heels all day long, no no. Now lovely shoes have become "sit and be pretty"- heels.
Obviously, this hasn't changed my love for high heels and I keep buying them, just less frequently... way less frequently! I needed to fill this dissatisfaction somehow and blogging about shoes, from Zalando as they offer a variety of brands, seemed like a good idea. But I won't stick to just high heels as plenty of girls aren't a fan (yet). Now, let's have a look, shall we?
Though some girls might not be a fan, I'm a firm believer that any 21st Century Girl should have at least one pair of heels; be it killer heels or just a small one, as it really adds to your whole appearance. And even for the non-believer! There will come a time in your life (i.e. formal event such as prom, a wedding, etc) when you will have to go for something with a heel.
Killer heels have turned into "Sit & Be Pretty Heels" (sigh!), which is your favorite?
Or perhaps I should swallow my words? The rise of ballerinas since a few years, made them quite a popular option for formal gatherings. My collection of ballerinas (or flats in general) isn't that big yet, to be honest. I think I might have 2 or 3 pairs of ballerinas. The reason for this is that not all flats are that comfortable anyways (remember my problem with high heels?!) so for the last couple of years I have mainly been buying other shoes...
... Sneakers! I don't own a lot either, but that's because I find a pair or two that I like and I just stick to them until they're completely beat down and ready to be thrown away. However, If they're called Converse All Stars then I will still hang on to them.. as I like my Converse dirty!
Though I wear my all stars or army boots most of the time... my heart belongs to those lovely high heels that I can only wear for a short period, then I am forced to sit down and give my feet a break or wither and die from pain! What?! Too dramatic? That's why they're called "Sit & Be Pretty" heels!
