I have always been interested in crazy colors for on the lips. With crazy colors I mean shades that are not that regular, e.g. red or pink. I had been eyeing the different shades by MDMflow for a long time, but never took that step, because they were not very budget-friendly.. and what if that shade looked horrible on me? Lucky for me, NYC has all kinds of crazy colors and only for a small price!

I always wanted a plaid shirt, and with a little encouragement from my sister I finally purchased my first one from Forever 21 (right before it closed here, darn it). I was doubting between a red and blue one, but I finally opted for the blue ones, because I thought it would be more wearable (but both really are, doh). And then I did another thing that is out of my comfort: I paired it with a statement necklace!

A while back I was invited to the launch of Angélique van de Winkel's collaboration with Jane Iredale. The Belgian makeup artist created three beauty kits, called "Happy Browns", "Happy Brights", and "Happy Deluxe", with existing cosmetics from Jane Iredale to match with a person's hair and eye color. I was able to test the first beauty kit, so here is my review!

You may know that when it comes to jewelry that I'm more of a minimalist than someone who wears a lot of accessories. However, I do really love rings and earrings, and I try to add them in my looks as much as possible. When I browsed around the online jewelry store Happiness Boutique I first browsed the many gorgeous statement necklaces, but I ended up going back to what I am comfortable with. Take one guess...
